Northland Gets New Movie Theater Experience
DULUTH - Moviegoers in the Northland will get a whole new experience when they visit one Duluth theater.
An extensive renovation of Marcus Duluth Cinema in Canal Park is now complete and offering visitors a 65 foot wide ultra screen theater with motion seats, along with a Take Five Lounge that serves up food and cocktails.
The theater's manager says it gives guests more of a night out experience.
"Especially in this area we'd like to have people be able to have the option to come and park one time, be able to get some nice food, have an adult beverage if they want to and then have all the entertainment of watching the movie," said Manager Shawn Fennessey.
To check out an ultra screen movie it will cost you an extra two dollars.
The first movie to play in the theater will be the "Amazing Spider Man" which opens next Tuesday.
