A Northland school gets an environmental honor from the federal government.

BlueGreen Alliance congratulated North Shore Community School for being a Green Ribbon School.

Students, teachers and administrators made environmentally conscious decisions, reducing their school's carbon footprint.

North Shore is one of three schools in Minnesota to get the award.
