TOWER - A 38-year-old Deer River woman was found after police say she became lost in a wooded area near Tower.

According to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, a volunteer rescue squad responded to Vermilion Lake Township around 10 p.m. on Saturday.

Police say Rose Geshick became lost while walking near a relative’s home.

Geshick was later located in good health at the Fortune Bay Casino.
