VIRGINIA - Officers are investigating an incident where two males in a small unmarked car reportedly used dash-mounted police emergency lights to stop a female motorist in Virginia.
According to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, it happened around 7 p.m. on Saturday when the female driver became suspicious of the males’ appearance.
Police say she drove away without being pursued further.
The sheriff’s office advises any motorist who is suspicious of a vehicle attempted to stop them with police equipment, to drive to a well-lit or populated area.
Call 911 to report the incident and request identification of any person purporting to be a police officer.
