PINE CO. - A Hinckley man is behind bars after police say he was looking for a hit man to murder his ex-girlfriend.

Jesse Ericson, 45, has been charged with three counts of conspiracy to commit kidnapping.

Authorities say they arranged a meeting between Ericson and an undercover officer who posed as a hired assassin.

They say during one of several meetings Ericson decided instead to have his ex-girlfriend kidnapped and kept alive as a sex slave for $150,000.

His bail is set at $1 million.
