Police Respond to Call of Shots Fired

CLOQUET - On Wednesday, December 5th, 2012 at about 9:32 PM Cloquet Police were called to the 2300 block of Kelly Avenue in the City of Cloquet, where several residents reported hearing the sound of a gunshot.
On scene, police interviewed several people and learned of possible threats made to people at a residence in that area via text messaging.
No one was injured during the incident and no suspects have been identified.
Police are currently following up on information obtained through the investigation and the incident remains under investigation.
No further information is available at this time.
Cloquet Police were assisted by the Carlton County Sheriff's Department and the Fond du Lac Police Department in this investigation.
