Prosecutors Move to Try 17 Yr. Old as Adult in Brutal Beating

DULUTH - New developments Tuesday in a case against a Duluth teen facing serious charges. Prosecutors now want to try 17–year–old Norman Cutbank III, as an adult.
He's currently charged with first, second, and third degree assault.
Prosecutors want to up those charges to second–degree attempted murder.
Authorities say Cutbank is one of two men allegedly involved in the brutal beating with a baseball bat and stabbing of a 17–year–old girl and an 18 year old man.
It happened October 13th in the Hillside neighborhood of Duluth.
A court hearing is set for November 16th for prosecutors to make their case for trying Cutbank as an adult.
