DULUTH - In the Twin Ports a residential home for seniors is marking an important anniversary. St. Ann's Residence for Seniors is celebrating its 50th anniversary all year long.

Saturday they held their first event to mark the occasion and employees say their events are open to the public.

"We're just reaching out to the community to bring different culture to our seniors here and enrich their lives a little bit as well as having people come in and meet them," said staff member Traci Jaszczak.

Next month St. Ann's plans on focusing on heart health by having guest speakers as part of their celebration.
