DULUTH - New changes may soon be coming to a neighborhood near UMD.
Duluth city officials and neighbors met Monday night to discuss plans to re–zone the St. Marie
The triangle consits of Woodland Avenue, St. Marie Street, and the UMD campus.
Officials want to re–zone the area from residential
traditional to residential urban and a mixed use
It's all to bring it up to code and say city officicals say it's good for both school and neighbors.
"I think it's really important to everyone
in the community to balance the needs of college students and colleges in our
community with those of our area residents and neighborhoods," said Planner II Jenn Moses.

report for the planning commission which the city council will then make a
