DULUTH - Music from the 70s brought back several great memories for residents and some money for the Lake Superior Zoo on Saturday.
The 70s Revival Concert raised money for the Lake Superior Zoo while bringing back songs from popular bands like ACDC, ZZ Top and Lynerd Skynyrd at the Duluth Heights Community Center.
One hundred percent of the proceeds are being donated to the zoo after the flood.
“It was an opportunity to get people together and have some fun with the music and also support a good cause,” said John Heino, a band participant.
Organizers planned the event long before the flood but when the water hit the city, they had an idea to dedicate the event to a good cause.
