Rick Nolan Picks up DLF Endorsement for Eighth Dist.

DULUTH - At the DFL’s Eighth District Congressional Convention, delegates - overwhelmingly choosing Rick Nolan to take on Congressman Chip Cravaack this fall - with calls for national political reform.
"We had a roof over our head, we had food on the table, we had a community that cared about us, we had schools that were good,” exclaims Nolan, “and we had boundless opportunity. And that is what's being lost in America's economy and politics today".
22 percent of voters checked "no endorsement".
Ten percent chose Jeff Anderson and Tarryl Clark got zero percent.
Congressman Chip Cravaack's office made this statement after the endorsement:
“"While the DFL candidates will continue to battle each other in the coming months, Chip Cravaack has stayed above the fray and remains focused on creating more jobs for the 8th District. He will continue to work with his colleagues on bipartisan, common-sense solutions to the problems facing our country."
