DULUTH - Runners got on their marks and made their way down London Rd. Thursday.
About 2,500 runners came out to be a part of the annual Gobble Gallop's 5-K run, one mile run, kids’ quarter–mile run and the two–mile walk.
For many families, the gallop has become part of their Thanksgiving tradition.
"We come up here every year for Thanksgiving but this is our side of the family's first year running the Gobble Gallop," runner Britta Schnell said. "We're excited to be here and get a little exercise in before we eat later."
Last year, the event raised more than $4,000 for the Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank.
