HERMANTOWN - Phone calls aren't the only way to help out your local Salvation Army.

Others helped fill up a truck with presents for kids today in Hermantown.

It's a fundraiser to collect items for children aged 0 to 16.

But organizers say they're looking for the public to help meet their goals.

“It's coming in slowly but it’s not coming in fast enough. Our distribution is a week from Monday and at this point we’re not going to have enough toys to do all the children we have signed up so were hoping the public kicks in and brings us more toys,” Nancy Leslie said.
