On Aug. 29, 2007, Megan Anderson, of Cook, became the victim of murder at her Eveleth workplace sending chills throughout the community.

Megan's killer, Jesaiah Carlson is severing 40 years behind bars after stabbing Megan more than a dozen times.
Megan would have been 25 years old today.
