SUPERIOR – A neighborhood was shaken up after shots were fired from inside a home Thursday night.

Officers responded just after 5 p.m. to N 24th St. and John Ave.

Once they arrived on scene, police say a man walked out the front door, claiming how excited he was that he had just killed two people.

Despite those claims, no one was dead or injured.

Police confirm a gun was fired inside a home.

The man was taken to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.
