DULUTH - The 40th-annual Ski and Snowboard Swap kicked off Friday.
People lined up to trade in their golf clubs for skis and boards.
It's an opportunity to buy and sell new and slightly used winter sports equipment so people are ready to hit slopes this coming season.
"It's just a wonderful resource for families to bring in gear that their kids have grown out of and equip their family with tons of new gear at a very affordable price," said Dave Plude, Team Duluth ski team.
The Swap continues into Saturday at Spririt Mountain from 10 a.m. until Noon, and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
