FOCUS ON HEALTH - Smoking has been known to cost lives, but for the living it could soon cost them health insurance.
A provision in Obamacare allows health insurers to charge smokers up to 50 percent higher premiums starting next year.
A 60-year-old could wind up paying more than $5,000 dollars on top of premiums.
Younger smokers covered on the job would be able to avoid tobacco penalties by joining smoking cessation programs.
Nearly one in every five adults smokes in the U.S.

Hard times mean bigger portions for Americans.
That's according to a new study.
Researchers found people who were given numerous messages about tough times ate nearly 40 percent more food than those given neutral messages.
Researchers also found the negative messages led people to desire more high calorie foods.
