DULUTH - Now that the Human Development Center has opened a new child and family facility, they're in need of toys, books and furnishings to fill it.Officials say they use toys during therapy to help parents and children interact better, to teach kids to be imaginative, express creativity and increase their frustration tolerance.
"With kids a lot of times we can help them kind of work on those therapeutic issues through that creativity and kind of the play that they just naturally bring to their interactions," said Saprina Matheny with the Human Development Center said.
