A Twin Cities professional dance theater set up shop in Duluth Tuesday night to perform "Wreck."
Artistic Dir. Carl Flint, from Black Label Movement, was inspired to create "Wreck" after his father's experiences as a sailor on the ore boats.
Flint said it's also about dealing with the passings of all of those lost in the lake while on the job.
Flint hopes Duluth will embrace his gritty approach to dance and choreography to become a partner with his theater company.
"We'd love to see Duluth be a second home. It's a great arts town and great community - in terms of its work ethic and the physical life it leads," Flint said.
Duluth-based Zeitgeist Arts is a partner in all of this. Another showing will happen Oct. 10 at Clyde Iron.
