TWO HARBORS – If you live in Two Harbors you might be able to have more than just a few furry friends.
City officials are in the process of updating the current pet ordinance.
One revision includes lifting the two pet per household rule.
Officials say if you have more pets than that, you have sixty days to apply for a waiver.
"They can come in for a waiver, go through the City Council and ask them if they can keep let's say four dogs or five dogs,” said George Scheidt with the Lake County Human Society. "That's up to the City Council to approve that."
The next hearing for the pet ordinance is May 14.
