CLOQUET - After taking to their own picket a few weeks ago worker's at Cloquet's Sappi Fine Paper Mill accepted a contract offer on Friday night.

The announcement was made on the United Steel Workers 11-63 Facebook page.

About 400 production workers expressed concerns over the new contract offers presented by the company during months of negotiations.

They said the offers took from retirement and holiday pay. Union representatives could not be reached on Saturday to provide details on the new contract.
