SUPERIOR - In the latest edition of College Connection, we take you to the University of Wisconsin-Superior where there's a stronger focus than ever to expose students to the political process with an end goal to "Get Out and Vote."
Students and professors gathered in an intimate setting Wednesday on campus to watch live streaming coverage of the presidential debate between Pres. Barack Obama and G.O.P. candidate Mitt Romney.
UWS officials say it's just one of the ways the university is focusing its efforts -- specifically within the political science program -- to ignite political conversation and healthy debate among students in a non-partisan setting.
Wednesday night's viewing is one of three other live streaming presidential debates open to students in the coming weeks with a post-debate analysis among those who attend.
The campus will also hold an "election night return watch party" in November.
