ST. PAUL - The original Vikings stadium proposal is set to be brought to a floor vote in the House on Monday, according to House Speaker Kurt Zellers.

After a meeting with the Vikings, Gov. Mark Dayton, and Minneapolis leaders, Republican lawmakers dropped their stadium proposal Tuesday.

Rep. Matt Dean says the GOP group realized the financing of using state bonding for a stadium will not work, but he says some of their ideas could still be used toward a solution.
