SUPERIOR - Volunteers are collected donations of clothing sleeping bags, blankets and money for homeless people living in Superior and Douglas County.
One group of volunteers stayed across from the superior public library for 24 hours.
“People may have the impression that because of where we live, that we don't have a lot of homeless, that were too cold, that people are poor by choice, but reminding people that a lot of homeless are one step away. If you end up having a car repaired, you go into the hospital, you lose hours from work, your employer downsizes, it can happen to anybody,” said Millie Rounsville, an organizer.
