DULUTH - The snow made for dangerous driving conditions as the Duluth Police Department responded to 17 accidents and five hit–and-runs since from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
One of those crashes happened near 4th Street and 7th Avenue East when police say a 17–year– old driver slid through a stop sign and struck a DTA bus.
The driver was cited for driving too fast in the conditions and not having insurance.
No injuries were reported relating to that crash or any others in the city during that time frame.
