DULUTH - A group of Northland students put on a very special program to honor veterans, Friday.Duluth Edison Charter Schools Raleigh Academy third, fourt and fifth graders sang patriotic songs and presented artwork and video projects they made, all to show their appreciation for veteran services.
"They have aunts and uncles that serve in the military that have served,” Duluth Edison Charter Schools Technology Manager Harold Dols said. “We have family here and staff here that have spouses that have been gone for months at a time so it's a very meaningful program for us."
The program has been a tradition in west Duluth for the last 10 years.
