DULUTH - Organizers describe it as a wedding fair like no other you have seen.
Sunday night, hundreds checked out the first ever Zenith City Indie Wedding Show at Clyde Iron.
About twenty vendors set up showcasing how a Northland wedding can go beyond the traditional; from food, flowers, hair, makeup and decorations.
"There are frills and fancies to all of these people here that you just can't find at one of the mainstream places you would typically go," says Jordan Sundberg of Tin Cup Designs.
"Not every bride is traditional, there's nothing wrong with being traditional, but having an alternative to that really is needed for my generation who wants something different, something unique, something that's more personal than what their mom or grandparents had," says Derick Cich of Derick Cich Makeup Artistry.
Organizers hope to bring back the Indie Wedding Show next year.
