DULUTH, Minn. -

Fall is just around the corner and the Northland temperatures are starting to show that.

This morning, we talked about what fresh produce is now in season and how to transition plants during these cooler months.

Farmer Doug Hoffbauer and Derek Hoffbauer, of Duluth Flower Farm, visited FOX 21 to give some tips.

They say now is peak harvest time and the best time for shopping at your local farmer's market because most produce is in season.

You can find them at the Chester Bowl Fall Fest this weekend and at the Farmers Market.

The Duluth Farmers Market is every Wednesday from 2-6 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon.

The market runs until Halloween. The Festival of the Seasons will be the Saturday before Thanksgiving and they'll have Christmas trees and wreaths available.
