SILVER BAY - Fifty-eight year old Lake County Highway Department worker Lee Roy Jacobson from Silver Bay was killed in an equipment accident along County Highway 5, just west of Silver Bay, when the excavator he was operating fell into the Baptism River, while they were attempting to clear an ice jamb.
