A 71 year old Hibbing man facing charges for a crash that killed a man on a scooter in September has pleaded not guilty. Lyle White is facing two counts of criminal vehicular homicide.
Court documents say he was heading home from his hunting shack going 50 miles an hour and drove over the top of a hill.
That's where he saw a 78 year old man on his scooter but couldn't stop in time.
The documents go on to say the crash was caused by excessive speed and alcohol.
White will be back in court in april.
