CARLTON - Carlton County Deputies responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting an armed robbery late Saturday night.
According to the police report, the robbery took place at Tall Pines Liqour in Carlton at 9:58 p.m.
The clerk was approached by a male with a knife and was told to give the robber money.
He gave the robber money from the till, and the robber left. Police did not disclose how much.
Later that night the suspect was identified and located by Carlton Police. He is currently being held at the Carlton County Jail on charges of aggrevated robbery, 2nd degree assault, and terroristic threats.
His identity won't be released until he is formally charged.
The Minnesota State Patrol, Fond Du Lac Police Department, and the Cloquet Police assisted in the investogation.
