ASHLAND - In a follow up from a story last week, more details have emerged about what led up to the public censure of a school board member.
Ashland School Board member Bill Pearce recently took legal action against the school district after claiming he was unfairly disciplined by the rest of the board.
Documents now released to FOX 21 by the district reveal the superintendent's account of the situation.
In those documents, the superintendent calls Pearce's behavior "harassing and bullying."
The superintendent believes several allegations made by Pearce unfairly shed a negative light on the district because they have no basis.
Those claims include speculation that a principal was having an inappropriate relationship with a school employee.
Pearce's attorney previously said the disagreement between the two parties could turn into a lawsuit.
