The sick Northland bobcat that was found by animal
activist Linda Nervick, of Duluth, last week is recovering nicely, according to wildlife experts.
The bobcat is at the same Wild and Free center and doing
better than expected.
The staff says he's eating more, gaining
strength and will soon be able to roam an outdoor area as the wildcat
continues to get better.
You'll recall, Nervick spotted the bobcat
while driving from Ely to Duluth.
She walked with the cat for 45 minutes until
Wildwoods volunteers met up to rescue it.
Volunteers say Nervick helped save the
two-year-old cat’s life by stopping to help.
