DULUTH - A candidate has stepped forward for Duluth City Council. Brandon Clokey made the announcement Friday.
He's the executive director of the Duluth Fathering Project and most recently ran for Minnesota House District 7-B in 20-12.
"Because a lot of my background has been in state-wide public policy, I do have a very good relationship with people in St. Paul, and the reality is Duluth needs that positive relationship," Clokey said.
If Clokey wins the Duluth council at-large seat, he would be the first African-American to do so.
