DULUTH - The synthetic drug problem has officially forced the Duluth Transit Authority to remove a downtown bus shelter.
It's at 2nd Avenue E. and Superior Street.
D.T.A. officials told FOX 21 Tuesday the city council and Duluth Police Department have been concerned with a rise in drug activity there.
That's why the shelter is now gone.
There was no word Tuesday on when or if the shelter will ever come back.
