DULUTH - The Duluth Lions Club was serving up flapjacks for its annual pancake breakfast Thursday.
It's all to raise money for local diabetes, sight, and hearing programs.
The event is in its 56th year and gets about 300 volunteers to help out.
"One of the gentlemen here, this is his 55th, he's only missed one. He was telling us that when they first started, it was big garbage cans with canoe panels to mix the batter. We've got a big mixer now. Makes it a bit easier," said Barb Tanski, pancake chair.
The Lions Club hopes to raise $80,000.
