DULUTH - A Duluth man who led a Minnesota State Trooper on a high speed chase up on Central Entrance was given his sentence Friday.
Fifty-six year old Jeffrey Martens was sentenced to three years of probation for fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle.
If he doesn't complete the probation he will be sent to prison for one year and one day.
A state trooper spotted him on his motorcycle without a tail light and with old registration in April.
He slowed down at first but then sped off.
Police eventually caught him when he crashed.
