DULUTH - Duluth's so–called "ball slasher" was back in court again Friday for a probation violation hearing after getting kicked out of his group home and treatment program.
The court found 35–year–old Christopher Bjerkness violated his probation for breaking into the Chester Creek Academy's fitness center in May of 2011 to try and cut some exercise balls.
Bjerkness was sentenced to 27 months in prison that he'd only have to serve if he violated the terms of his four years of supervised probation for third degree burglary.
At the time of his sentencing the judge warned he'd be sent to prison or the Moose Lake Sex Offender Facility if he violated his probation.
In the past Bjerkness also broke into a Duluth Clinic and UMD's fitness center, slashing dozens of exercise balls for what he admitted is an obsessive sexual fetish.
A judge will determine the consequences of Bjerkness's violation at the end of June.
