Fmr. Employee Pleads Guilty to Starting Kozy Fire

DULUTH - A Duluth man has pleaded guilty to starting a fire at the Kozy Apartment building last April. Fifty-six year old Mark Starkovich, a former employee at the Kozy Apartments, pleaded guilty to negligent fires.
A trespassing charge was dropped.
According to the criminal complaint, surveilance cameras on the site recorded what appears to be Starkovich messing with wiring and entering a laundry room full of storage from Duluth's "Occupy" group.
He quickly exited and a fire starts burning soon after.
He'll be sentenced April 22nd.
