HERMANTOWN - Farley's Family Restaurant is teaming up with Adolph Meats for the World Food Competition in Las Vegas.
Farley's will be cooking up their Adolph bacon ranch burger and a black and blue patty melt.
They are the only Minnesotans in the contest and have already been named in the top 50.
“This is the top, everybody wants this,” said CEO and executive chef of Farley’s, Kelly Trumpold. “You have to pre-qualify and get, an invite into this competition, not anybody can just get into it.”
Adoph’s and Farley’s were invited to the competition because of their first and second place wins in the Duluth Grill Wars.
Dr. Barbeque was the judge at that competition, and will be judging alongside other Food Network stars at the Las Vegas contest.
If Farley’s makes it through the first round, they win $10,000 and get to move on to the final table for a chance to win $50,000.
Trumpold and the representative from Adolph's leave for Vegas Tuesday.
The competition runs Wednesday through Sunday.
Food Network will be doing a six part series on the competition that will air on their channel.
