DULUTH - As Veterans Day approaches, a Duluth school took the time to teach kids how important military members are to the United States.
Friday, Holy Rosary School held their second-annual assembly.
It's a place for students to ask questions to current military members and veterans about serving the country and what it means to be free.
“They understand that with this freedom comes a responsibility to serve, a responsibility to help others,” said Holy Rosary principal Jesse Murray. “That's the message I hope the kids take from it and the community as well.”
This event has been so successful Holy Rosary hopes to keep it going every year.
