DULUTH - A formerly toxic industrial site in the Morgan Park area could soon make way for new projects for the Canadian National Railway.

State grants allowed the city to clean–up the Atlas Industrial Park for possible future re–development last year. Now, the Canadian National Railway is exploring options to upgrade and increase capacity in the corridor that connects Superior, Wisconsin and Proctor, Minnesota. That could mean additional tracks for the CN.
