DULUTH - Last Place on Earth will remain shut down through at least August after a judge's order Friday.
St. Louis County Judge Shawn Floerke sided with the City of Duluth's motion for a temporary restraining order against the head shop.
The city says Last Place Jim Carlson sold synthetics earlier in the month even though he never applied for a city license to do so.
Last Place will remained closed until at least Aug. 19 when a court trail begins on complaints by the city.
City attorney Gunnar Johnson told FOX 21 he is relieved the controversial head shop will be closed through the height of the summer tourism season.
