SUPERIOR- Sunday was a great day to celebrate the largest fresh water lake in the world.
Sunday was Lake Superior day.
Folks had a chance to connect with musicians, artists and other unique vendors to celebrate living by Lake Superior.
Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve education coordinator, Deanna Erickson said, "It feels like everybody, it's easy to talk about how great Lake Superior is here, because everybody gets it and I think people share in the enthusiasm of the occasion."
The Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve has been holding the festival since 2004.
The last Thursday in July the reserve will start their free early childhood "River Rovers" program.
The program is designed to help connect children with the outdoors.
