TOWN OF GENESEE, Wis. (AP) - Authorities in Wisconsin say a missing 15-year-old girl has turned up safe in Chicago.
The Waukesha County sheriff's office says Kathryn Stalbaum of the Town of Genesee was found Friday evening.
Stalbaum missed her school bus Tuesday morning and texted a friend to say she would ride her bike the 2 miles to Kettle Moraine High School.
She never arrived. Her bike later was found in Waukesha, about 8 miles from where authorities expected to find it.
