DULUTH - A new campaign rolled out addressing the racial disparities between white communities and communities of color.Tuesday Racial Equity Minnesota launched their new network consisting of nine local and state non–profits.
Their goal is to help organizations talk about racial inequality and racism through performances, dialogs, training and consulting.
"We're very excited,” said Rowzat Shipchandler with Minnesota Philanthropy partners. “We think you know again we need to talk about these racial disparities especially as the state gets more diverse.” “We think these organizations, the nonprofits that are part of the network can have more power working together."
This month the network will kick off launch events throughout the state.
