SUPERIOR - Northland high schoolers were at UWS putting their math skills to the test.
More than 100 students from 11 Northland high schools competed in the 40th annual Math Meet.
They had to solve problems in geometry, algebra, trigonometry and calculus on their own and as a team.
"Students study math their whole high school career and they've been studying all year,” UWS math and computer science lecturer Kris Glesener said. “This is just kind of a way to see where students are at, practice math and just celebrate and have fun with math."
Winners took home t–shirts and trophies.
