DULUTH - The storm has closed Twin Ports schools for three days straight, and with kids at home, parents are forced to find alternative places for them to go during the day.
Many daycares and preschools also shut down during the storm.
It left many parents calling into work or hoping their employer made the choice to close for the day.
“I would say the majority of my friends were in that situation where they didn't have daycare,” said part-time attorney and parent, Dehlia Seim.
“So you either bring your kids along to work, or you are trying to work for home while they nap or watch TV. It's a challenge," she said.
