DULUTH - The rapidly rising concern of synthetic drugs brought teens and parents together Thursday night.
The public forum was held at the Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College."It included a question and answer session with experts from agencies like the Duluth Police Department. One of the department's officers described just one scenario of the fake pot problem.
"...isn't employed, probably homeless and is addicted. And the only way he can support his habit is by committing crimes, breaking into vehicles," said officer Rob Hurst.
Authorities say they've not only seen synthetic drugs around Duluth, but also on the Iron Range and even in schools across the Northland.
