DULUTH - Monday
night was the night to say thanks to some special volunteers at the Duluth
It was all part of the 16th annual Volunteer Dinner.
Nearly 150 of the 2,000-plus volunteers were on hand.
"Very important to connect with the volunteers and let them
know how much -- we couldn't do without them," said Major Bill Cox, of the
Duluth Salvation Army.
While the Christmas, bell-ringing season is a busy one, volunteers
help out the Salvation Army all year, especially at the soup kitchen.
